Bethesda FINALLY Break Their Silence on Starfield

Bethesda has recently released a new video dedicated to Starfield in which it reveals several information dedicated to the sci-fi game. Among others, it is also said that the game will include 250,000 lines of dialogue. The number is not only huge (even by Bethesda's standards) but also significantly higher than previously announced.

Recall that about a year ago Todd Howard stated that Starfield would include more than 150,000 lines of dialogue. For comparison, Skyrim contains 60,000 and Fallout 4 110,000. With the most recent video, however, it is claimed that Starfield will reach at least 250,000.

This is a definite leap forward; it is basically like an extra Fallout 4 within Starfield. Also intriguing to us is the fact that the number has increased from one year to the next. It is possible that the number previously given was not only not final, but sharply miscalculated, perhaps because there was no certainty that the team would be able to complete work on the other 100,000 lines of dialogue.

As we had indicated to you, some developers from outside Bethesda had expressed their doubts about the final quality of the texts of such a massive game, and now that the figure has increased enormously, we believe that their opinion has not changed much. The truth, however, is that only Starfield will be able to prove its quality, and there is no use judging without being able to try the game.

One thing is for sure, 250,000 lines of dialogue is a job not to be underestimated, and if everything is as perfect as fans hope, Starfield could truly be one of the biggest and most elaborate games of recent years and Bethesda.
