Star Wars Jedi: Survivor announced with official teaser trailer on PC, PS5 and Xbox

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been surprisingly announced by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment with an official teaser trailer, which you can see shown on this page. This is the new installment in the Star Wars-based action-adventure series, scheduled to arrive in 2023.

A sequel to the excellent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the game appears to follow the story that began with the previous chapter, as the protagonist appears to be indeed still Cal Kestis, grappling with a new and imposing threat to his path as a survivor of the Jedi Order. According to Respawn, the story is set five years after the events of Fallen Order and presents the protagonist with an even more complex new challenge.

Watching the trailer, in addition to the inseparable robot companion BD-1, several characters also emerge who seem to have considerable importance within the story: an imperial senator belonging to the Pau'an race and another still mysterious character who appears inside a bacta tank, who seems to represent a key element in the new chapter but about whom nothing definite is yet known.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is, like its predecessor, a third-person action adventure and is expected in 2023, there are still no more precise details on the release date nor the planned platforms, but the press release talks about next-generation platforms so it is quite likely to be PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
