Redfall: Halloween trailer features the Treacherous Predator and the Vigilant Sentinel

Redfall today returned to show itself with a new trailer posted on Xbox's YouTube channel. Titled "In the Heart of the Night," the clip pays homage to the Halloween creepy season by introducing the Treacherous Predator and the Vigilant Sentinel, two of the types of bloodthirsty vampires that will hunt us down in Arkane Austin's game for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

As we can see in the footage, the Vigil Sentinel is tasked with guarding the game environments, usually from vantage points such as light poles and balconies. This makes them dangerous adversaries, as they may call other vampires to summons if they spot players, but fortunately it appears that it will be possible to avoid their gaze by paying attention to the flashy beam of light they emit from their eyes.

The Treacherous Marauder unfortunately appears on screen for only a handful of seconds, but that's enough to guess that her specialty will be grabbing and luring players to her using a kind of lasso and then annihilating them.

Redfall is currently in development, with a planned launch during the course of 2023. According to an alleged insider, the release date is slated for next March, but to know for sure we will just have to wait for official communication from Bethesda.
