Life is Strange: True Colors is a non-linear story about people with supernatural powers, just like the…
Halo Infinite's single-player campaign requires just 26.35GB of space on your hard disk or SSD. This is a really small size for installation, especially compared to many other titles launched in recent years, despite the high-quality graphics. The figure comes directly from the support of the game, which has provided via Twitter what we can consider the final numbers before today's launch.
For example, we learn that installing the single-player campaign along with the multiplayer mode will require 48.42 GB of space. If the multiplayer beta is already installed, it will receive an update of 3.97 GB, with an additional download for the campaign of about 25.86 GB, for a total of 29.83 GB.
According to David Ellis of 343 Industries, the development team has worked hard to keep the size of the movies within certain limits, so as not to go to weigh on the SSDs of the players. We imagine especially those with Xbox S Series, which starts with only 512 GB of total space.
In a later tweet, Ellis explained that it's not just a big compression, but also more careful and dedicated technical work, but without specifying which (he described it as technical magic).
For the rest, we remind you that Halo Infinite is available from today for PC, Xbox Series X and S, and consoles of the Xbox One family. It is also launched immediately in the Xbox Game Pass, to the delight of subscribers.
